For many military families, saving a deposit feels like the biggest obstacle. Forces Help to Buy could help overcome that by providing an interest-free loan of up to £25,000, which can be used towards your deposit and other costs such as solicitor's fees.
Forces Help to Buy (FHTB) is an interest-free loan of up to £25,000, designed to help eligible Service personnel buy their first home, move to another property or even build their own home. Better still, from 1 January 2023, the scheme became a permanent part of Armed Forces life.
