Forces Help To Buy
The Forces Help To Buy (FHTB) scheme is an interest free loan of up to £25,000 over 10 years. It is designed to help eligible service personnel to own their first home, move to another property or even self-build. The good news is that from 1st January 2023, it is here to stay.
Whether you are a First Time Buyer or Moving to another property, PFL Mortgages are with you throughout your journey, helping every step of the way. This could include assistance with making an offer on a property or finding a solicitor, but for Service personnel looking to use the FHTB, we offer help with this too.
We will help to check whether you are eligible, how much you can borrow, work out your monthly repayments and most importantly, help you find the best mortgage deals from lenders who accept FHTB (not all lenders do). We can also show you where and how to apply and what information you will need for the application.

As first time buyers my partner and I are very happy we was referred to PFL mortgages. Charles was very supportive when arranging our mortgage and looking for the best option for us.
The communication was amazing from Charles and he would call at the times that suited my partner and I best so we could both be included in the discussions. Once the mortgage was arranged he proceeded to help us with Life insurance which he was very clear about the options available and ensured my partner and I was comfortable and well informed to make our decision.

PFL Mortgages were fantastic from start to finish. Professional, timely and really helped me. In the first meeting they really listened to my needs and were quickly able to begin the process of finding me a mortgage. I highly recommend PFL mortgages. We’ve used them for mortgage brokerage and life insurance and the process was so easy for both. Charles and Dawn are great to work with, Charles had calls with us at times that suited our young family and always made time to answer all of our questions (however silly they may have been !)

I would recommend PFL Mortgages to any friends or family. The services we required were Mortgage advice, Mortgage brokering, Conveyancing and Insurance brokerage in order to purchase our first property.
Many parts of this process could have been stressful and time consuming, however PFL took all of that away. With regular catch ups and communications throughout the process it allowed us to stay informed and make the decisions needed while the team did all the leg work. There was a solution for every problem.
I never had to chase them for an update and they answered many (sometimes silly) questions. With the current rising mortgage rates they managed to secure us a deal far greater than I found on comparison sites.
We will be using this company for the foreseeable future and only wish we could have found them earlier.

PFL mortgages are amazing! They are extremely welcoming and answered each question I had professionally and quickly not matter how small it may be.

I was recommended PFL Mortgages by two friends. I was consulting another mortgage broker at the time but I felt my circumstances and personal details were much better handled and properly discussed by PFL.
I received a detailed and step by step support all the way through the "buying a property process" which can be very stressful with unpredictable surprises. PFL were always there for me to listen and advise and they did a fantastic job in searching the best deal for me as well as systematically chasing up my solicitors.
On top of all this they were very keen on searching newer, better mortgage deals for me while I was waiting for the sellers solicitors to respond.
